My niece Stefani came to visit for two weeks from California and it was a trip to see how grown-up she is. She is 11 years old going on 16 and knows the lyrics to every song (pop or country) on the radio and one day she will be on American Idol. She was very excited to see Nathan since he is her first 1st cousin and was helpful to have around and learned quickly the power of the pacifier in the car. During her trip we attended the Perrelli annual Bocce Ball tournament and she was jazzed to talk to all the people and get a trophy for her participation. Stefani is a shoppaholic so we went to the mall when Nathan was in a good mood. Her wardrobe choices included neon colors and punk / goth type clothing and the infamous Twilight backpack. I of course kept trying to encourage her to choose pretty clothes but she was not interested… gosh where has the time gone?
